FACEBOOK Nicholas- Artist

I began teaching following several requests from customers who bought my greetings cards plucking up the courage to start in August 2019. I now run three art classes a week that cover both watercolours and drawing. I initially held them in my home however with recent restrictions on meeting up I have run them via zoom from my Studio in the garden at home.

I love teaching what I love to do which is art. I not only help to inspire my students, I am also inspired by them and their creativity. I learn something every time. By teaching I am continuously sharing my love of looking at the countryside, nature and what we see around us whether it be lichen, coke cans or a beautiful view. It focuses us all to really look at colours and shapes around us every day.

My classes are presently held online via Zoom. Face to face will resume once restrictions have been lifted.

When we can meet up again my classes are held in my garden at Hackamore Course, Grove Lane, Redlynch SP5 2NR

My art classes are offered to those interested in art who have no or some experience.

Small, friendly, inclusive classes where you feel inspired to have a go.  I have enjoyed clever challenges, new ideas, encourage to explored my style, while building confidence with surprising results.  Thank you Lucinda for offering a new and creative way to spend a morning doing something delightful and relaxing.   Ann
Lucinda is a pleasure to learn from and work with. She is always positive in her corrections and suggestions.  She finds a subject to paint that may appear challenging but proves otherwise by providing a breakdown of the scene and tips for approaching it, thus improving  the student's confidence. She is also happy if we choose our own subject, thus increasing our feelings of independence and ownership. She is also happy to show us the basics of colour, types of paint etc.   Ruth
