G E O R G E   S H A P L A N D


George Shapland retired from the army in 2017 and took up wood turning full time after training under the Master Turner, Stuart Mortimer.  He turned professional in 2019 with the launch of his company Butterwood and was accepted onto the Register of Professional Turners in September that year. He specialises in segmented designs in both domestic and exotic hardwoods.

L U C Y   S H A P L A N D


Previously, Lucy worked as a zookeeper before turning her passion for wildlife into art.  In 2018, Lucy was shortlisted for the Wildlife Artist of the Year award, exhibiting one of her pieces in the Mall Gallery in London.  Today, Lucy loves to create gorgeous animal artworks, fine art prints and greeting cards.

N E I L   B U C K L E Y


Orange Peel Art is a collection of acrylic paintings taken from landscapes in the Salisbury/Wiltshire area. Whilst most of the paintings show a traditional image of well-known historic sites, some of the paintings have been given their own spin, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. 

F R E D   F I E B E R


Fred draws and paints on a variety of subjects in a range of mediums, landscapes, cityscapes and railways feature strongly. He works from his home studio in Salisbury. One of his biggest projects to date is the Milford Bridge Mural in Salisbury. Other projects include producing prints from charcoal drawings of the 90 or so pubs that have existed in Salisbury since the 1900s.

V I C K Y   B I L T O N


Vicky uses free machine embroidery and by using hand stitching techniques such as Japanese Boro to produce tote bags. Vicky has recently been experimenting with natural dyes in her work to produce bespoke greetings cards and accessories.

T H E   S P O T T E D   D O G


I LOVE yarn, HATE waste, so I spin my own yarn from local sheep’s fleece and textile waste, and ply unwanted and salvaged acrylic wool to create bespoke yarns which feature in my crochet and knit hats, bags and neckwear, and in my crochet, knitting and spinning kits.

D A N   B I L T O N


Dan’s paintings are built up layers of oil paint and mixed media focusing on the colours, textures and forms found in rugged landscapes. He mainly works from memories of specific places to give a more abstract feel. Dan completed an Art Foundation Diploma at Salisbury College and studied Fine Art at Plymouth University. His paintings are on permanent display at several independent businesses in Salisbury.
